If you’re eligible, spring booster appointments are being offered between 11 April and 30 June 2023. If you need to rearrange your appointment, you may need to choose a later date.
More appointments will be added in the coming weeks. If you can’t find a suitable appointment now. You can check the online portal on NHS inform or phone the helpline at a later date.
The offer of first and second doses for people who are not at higher risk of severe coronavirus ends in Scotland on 30 June 2023. Please come forward as soon as possible if you haven’t already had these. You can book an appointment online or phone the national vaccination helpline on 0800 030 8013.
We would like to welcome to the team Susan, John, Gary, John and Billy who are advanced paramedics. Their roles within the surgery will be to visit patients at home instead of the GPs. The visit requests will initially be assessed by the GP but they will then take over to visit and assess the patient at home if it is clinically indicated.
We have been sent information to make available for our patients about a new venue for the Renfrewshire Stroke café – this is open to patients and carers. Click the like below to see the information where this is held and times.

Update July 2023
Masks are now no longer compulsory in the surgery. However the GP or Nurse may request that patients wear them dependant on symptoms.
Thank you
We have introduced 5 minute telephone medication review appointments into the GP surgeries which would be to discuss medication ONLY.
This will be advised by the GP when a review of repeat medication is required and reception staff will book this with the appropriate GP. However if you have any other issues that you wish to discuss with the GP please ensure to book a routine 10 minute appointment as this will not be dealt with within this 5 minute review appointment.
Thank You
The surgery appointment system is running as follows:
When you contact the surgery you will be initially triaged to ensure your call is appropriate for a clinician. If appropriate, you with be offered a telephone appointment or face to face appointment (your choice) at this time. Due to the high level of calls and appointments available on one day, patients will be offered a 10 minute appointment with the appropriate clinician.
Patients will be able to arrange appointments 4 weeks in advance, pre-bookable telephone and face to face appointments. This will then allow the on the day appointments to be used for acute problems.
We hope with our new system in place patients will be able to ensure they are able to plan appointments in advance and allow on the day appointments to be readily available.
Thank you

The practice staff have worked incredibly hard throughout the pandemic and we are still working hard now under immense pressure with much higher demand now than before the pandemic. We do not tolerate aggressive or abusive language & behaviour towards any member of the surgery team. This applies when you are in building or on the phone.
