Sign inNHS have now produced a new online calculator to check if you are eligible this year for the shingles vaccination. This is only for those who have not previously had the shingles vaccine.
This indicates eligibility based on age only. Individuals deemed not eligible due to their age may still be eligible due to severe immunosuppression/severely weakened immune system.
The health board are currently appointing those who are eligible due to age and if you are immunosuppressed – those who are will get a letter.
