We have an open list and welcome requests for registration from patients living in or moving to the practice area.
If you prefer a particular type of doctor, e.g. female for a female patient and vice versa, we will note this and do our best to respect your choice. However, not all the doctors in the practice provide all services and specific doctors may not be immediately available.
You can register by:
- completing a form available from reception – please bring ID with you to do this.
Please allow the surgery at least two weeks to process your application before booking an appointment. Should you feel you need to be seen sooner, please make this known to the receptionist when obtaining a GPR form.
For overseas visitors who wish to join our surgery, please visit NHSinform for information.
Temporary patients
People who are visiting a patient of our practice from another area in the UK for a period of less than 3 months, and who become unwell, are entitled to be seen as a temporary resident. Please contact the surgery for more information.
If you only require a supply of your regular medication, it may be possible to obtain this from a local pharmacy under the Unscheduled Care Scheme, or by the pharmacist liaising directly with your GP.
Search for local pharmacy services.
Visitors to Scotland
For visitors to Scotland who are unsure what health care you could get for free there are factsheets which tell you what you are entitled to through the NHS if you become ill or have an accident while here.
These factsheet has been updated since the UK left the European Union
